At the Terminal

The terminal building is opened 60 minutes before a scheduled passenger flight, and is locked 60 minutes after the last flight of the day.

​

Check-in requirements are outlined by the airline.

For check in times and information please visit the airline directly with 

Air New Zealand or Barrier Air

Please allow extra check in time for group bookings, sports teams, oversize items and animals.

​

Proof of identification will be required when checking in on any flight.

Baggage allowances are set and managed by the airline you are flying with.

Airlines have strict regulations as to the weight of luggage passengers can take aboard flights.

To check baggage allowances, including excess baggage, please check with your airline

We do everything possible to ensure that those that may need special assistance can travel with ease.

 

Wheelchairs - are available and airline staff are more than happy to help provide these.

 

Mobility car parking - is available for vehicles with a valid disability card.

Toilets - A wheelchair accessible toilet is available in the main terminal building.

Oversized baggage or freight requests need to be managed with your airline.

 

They will be pleased to discuss details on how to transport your over-sized baggage and freight. â€‹
